Kristin Pardee '00, MBA '07
Assistant Director for Young Alumni & Student Programs
This is Kristin's third year on the Heights as a team member with the Office of Alumni & Parent Programs, but her tenure with Le Moyne spans over a decade.
Kristin grew up in nearby Tully, NY before coming to Le Moyne as an undergraduate student. Though her Biology major kept her busy with classes and labs, Kristin still found time to participate in several student organizations including the Student Senate, Environmental Action Committee, Habitat for Humanity, Le Moyne College singers and the Gaelic Society. Kristin completed a successful undergraduate career in 2000 as an honors graduate and member of the Tri-Beta and Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Societies.
While all of her Le Moyne friendships, activities and classroom studies have been influential in her post-collegiate life, it was her experience as a work study in the Financial Aid Office that led Kristin to a career in Higher Education. Kristin was fortunate to work after graduation as a professional Financial Aid Administrator for four years at the Syracuse University College of Law.
Working with graduate level students made Kristin reflect on her own plan for a graduate degree. Le Moyne was once again Kristin's academic choice in 2004 and in May 2007 she completed her graduate degree in Business Administration. As a full-time graduate student, Kristin held several internships in corporate and nonprofit marketing, strategy and special event planning. She also worked for a year as a graduate assistant in the Career Services Office before joining the Alumni and Parent staff full-time!
You can find Kristin in her spare time walking her dog Marley around Tipperary Hill or attempting to become a green thumb. She is involved with Meals on Wheels of Syracuse, the Civic Engagement Committee of the 40 Below and entrepreneurial organizations like WISE and the SSIC. At 5'9'', she's fairly easy to spot at an alumni event, is usually smiling and always more than happy to help!!!
