Alumni for Others
The Le Moyne College Nonprofit Network was established to
support our alumni working at organizations that connect to the mission of the
college. Our alumni are committed to serving others in their communities,
and this network provides opportunities for involvement across the country.
Therese Schoeneck '54 (Executive Director of Hope for the Bereaved) and Deborah Acio '07 profited from finding each other through the Non-Profit Network. Deborah's company partnered with Therese last Saturday and several volunteers gave their time and talent to Hope, as well as a check for $1000. "The Le Moyne network is so strong that there are natural fits for working together in all communities." says Deborah.
Tell us about your service projects and connections to the Non-Profit Network so that we might feature them in our communications.
We invite alumni, parents and friends of the college to
volunteer your time by contacting these organizations directly, or reviewing
the service opportunities page. "Empower people to become
leaders in service. Men & Women for and with others, building a more just
and humane world."
To join the Le Moyne College Nonprofit Network and spotlight volunteer
opportunities at your organization, contact Michael Sgro '97
in the Office of Alumni & Parent Programs. Organizations must be a recognized 501 C, employ Le Moyne alumni or have board members that are alumni, and have volunteer opportunities. Click here to review our partnership agreement.
